Cookie Policy — Nexus Global HR
How we use cookies and similar technologies on nexusglobalhr.com
1. What Are Cookies?
Cookies are small text files that a website places on your computer, tablet, or mobile phone when you visit. They are widely used to make websites work correctly, remember your preferences between visits, and provide anonymous usage statistics to site owners.
Despite the friendly-sounding name, a cookie is not software and cannot execute code or deliver viruses. It simply stores small pieces of information — such as a session identifier or your language preference — that your browser hands back to the website the next time you visit.
Cookies can be classified in two ways:
- By origin: "first-party" cookies are set by the website you are visiting (nexusglobalhr.com), while "third-party" cookies are set by other domains embedded within our pages (like Google Analytics or Google AdSense).
- By duration: "session" cookies disappear when you close your browser, while "persistent" cookies stay on your device for a defined period, sometimes months or years.
2. Why We Use Cookies
At Nexus Global HR, we use cookies to give you a smooth, personalised, and secure experience while you explore overseas job opportunities. Specifically, cookies help us:
- Keep you logged in as you move between pages of our website
- Protect our forms from bots and automated abuse (via Google reCAPTCHA v3)
- Remember your cookie consent preferences so we do not ask again on every visit
- Save your job-search filters, saved jobs, and application drafts
- Understand which job listings and countries are most popular with our visitors
- Measure the effectiveness of our recruitment campaigns and improve them
- Show you relevant advertising (only if you have consented to marketing cookies)
Nothing in this policy allows us to identify you personally through cookies alone. When we do combine cookie data with information you have provided (such as your application), we treat it under our Privacy Policy.
3. Cookie Categories
We group cookies into four categories, matching the choices in our cookie consent banner. You can accept or reject each category independently (except Necessary cookies, which are essential and cannot be turned off).
3.1 Necessary Cookies Always Active
These cookies are essential for the website to function. They enable core features like page navigation, secure login, form submission, and remembering your consent choices. Without these cookies, our website cannot operate correctly. Because they are strictly necessary, they do not require your consent.
3.2 Analytics Cookies Opt-In
Analytics cookies help us understand how visitors use our website — which pages are viewed most, how long people stay, and where they come from. We use this aggregated information to improve our content and user experience. We use tools such as Google Analytics for this purpose. All analytics data is anonymised and cannot be traced back to you personally.
3.3 Marketing Cookies Opt-In
Marketing cookies are used to show you relevant advertising on our site and elsewhere on the web. They track your browsing habits across websites to build a profile of interests. We use Google AdSense and other advertising networks for this purpose. If you decline marketing cookies, you will still see ads — they will just be less relevant to you.
3.4 Preferences Cookies Opt-In
Preferences cookies remember your personal choices to give you a more comfortable experience — such as your preferred language, saved-job list, region, or theme. These are not essential but make repeat visits smoother.
4. First-Party vs Third-Party Cookies
First-party cookies are set directly by nexusglobalhr.com. These are fully under our control and are used for essential site functions like login sessions and cookie consent.
Third-party cookies are set by domains other than nexusglobalhr.com when their content or services are loaded on our pages. These third parties may include:
- Google — for reCAPTCHA security, Analytics measurement, AdSense advertising, and Fonts loading
- Font Awesome / cdnjs / jsdelivr — content delivery networks for icons, scripts, and styles
- YouTube — if we embed job-testimonial videos (only when you play them)
We do not control third-party cookies. To learn more about how a specific third party uses cookies, please refer to their own privacy and cookie policies.

Note: cookie names and durations can change as we or our third-party providers update their systems. This table is illustrative rather than exhaustive.
6. Google reCAPTCHA
Our website is protected by Google reCAPTCHA v3 on all forms — contact, job application, login, registration, and forgot-password. reCAPTCHA silently evaluates each interaction and assigns a risk score to determine whether the request is from a human or a bot.
To perform this evaluation, reCAPTCHA sets a cookie (_grecaptcha) and collects hardware/software information such as browser type, plugins, screen resolution, mouse movement, and IP address. This information is sent to Google's servers for analysis.
Because reCAPTCHA is a security-essential feature that protects your account and our systems from abuse, it is classified as a Necessary cookie and cannot be turned off. However, its use is subject to Google's Privacy Policy and Terms of Service.
7. Google Analytics
We use Google Analytics 4 (GA4) to understand how visitors use our website — which pages they view, how long they stay, and how they arrive at our site. This helps us improve content and user experience.
Google Analytics uses cookies such as _ga, _ga_*, and _gid to distinguish users. The data is aggregated and cannot be used to personally identify you. IP addresses are anonymised where feasible.
Google Analytics cookies fire only if you have consented to the Analytics category in our cookie banner. You can opt out at any time by:
- Changing your consent in our cookie banner (click "Customize" and toggle Analytics off)
- Installing the official Google Analytics Opt-out Browser Add-on
8. Google AdSense & Advertising
Our website may display advertisements served by Google AdSense and other advertising partners. These ads help us cover the cost of providing free recruitment services to Indian job seekers.
Advertising cookies:
- Personalise the ads you see based on your interests
- Prevent the same ad from being shown too many times
- Measure the effectiveness of advertising campaigns
- Enable remarketing (showing our ads to you after you leave)
Third-party advertising vendors like Google use cookies to serve ads based on your prior visits to our website and other websites on the internet. You can:
- Reject marketing cookies via our cookie banner
- Opt out of personalised advertising at Google Ads Settings
- Opt out of third-party vendor cookies at aboutads.info/choices and youronlinechoices.com
9. How to Manage Your Cookie Preferences
You are in full control of the non-essential cookies on our site. There are three ways to manage them:
9.1 Our Cookie Consent Banner
When you first visit our site, a cookie banner appears at the bottom of the page with three choices:
- Accept All — enables Necessary, Analytics, Marketing, and Preferences cookies
- Reject — enables only Necessary cookies
- Customize — opens a preferences panel where you can toggle each category individually
Your choice is stored for 180 days. To change your preferences later, clear your browser cookies for our site, or run this command in your browser's Developer Console: NexusConsent.revoke().
9.2 Through Your Browser Settings
All modern browsers let you view, delete, and block cookies. See Section 10 below for step-by-step guides.
9.3 Through Third-Party Opt-Out Tools
For advertising cookies specifically, see the opt-out links in Section 8.
10. Managing Cookies in Your Browser
Every modern browser has settings for controlling cookies. Here are quick guides for the most popular ones:
- Google Chrome: Manage cookies in Chrome
- Mozilla Firefox: Enhanced Tracking Protection
- Apple Safari: Manage cookies in Safari
- Microsoft Edge: Edge privacy settings
- Opera: Opera cookie settings
Please note: if you block all cookies (including Necessary ones), some parts of our website — especially login, job saving, and application forms — may not work correctly.
11. Do Not Track (DNT) Signals
Some browsers include a "Do Not Track" (DNT) feature that lets you tell websites you do not want your online activity tracked. Because there is currently no universal standard for how websites should respond to DNT signals, our website does not respond to DNT signals automatically.
However, our cookie consent banner gives you meaningful control equivalent to DNT: simply reject Analytics and Marketing categories, and non-essential tracking will not occur.
12. How Long Cookies Last
Cookie duration depends on the cookie's purpose:
- Session cookies disappear when you close your browser (used for login sessions).
- Short-term cookies last from a few minutes to 24 hours (used for form security tokens).
- Medium-term cookies last 30 days to 6 months (used for "remember me" and consent preferences).
- Long-term cookies last up to 2 years (used by Google Analytics and AdSense).
See the table in Section 5 for specific durations of each cookie we use.
13. Changes to This Cookie Policy
We may update this Cookie Policy from time to time to reflect changes in technology, regulations, or our practices. When we make material changes, we will:
- Update the "Last Updated" date at the top of this page
- Ask for your cookie consent again through our banner (if changes affect what cookies we use)
- Notify registered users of significant changes by email
We encourage you to review this page periodically to stay informed about how we use cookies.
